Officieel: 2011 Hyundai i10 Facelift details photos price
Hyundai ix20 new addition to the facelift of the i10 ready for the auto show in Paris. We saw earlier what's leak but this is the real stuff, or you have too high of doubt it is. The i10 takes the greatest lines on the ix35 crossover. Like ix20 means that a new grille and new headlamps. Inside it would all have to feel a little better.

Under the hood lurks a new three-cylinder 1 liter lung capacity and 68 hp vermogen. CO2 emissions are limited to 99 g / km. We also see a slightly more powerful 1.2 petrol engine will also be more economical in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The 1.1 petrol engine was removed from the range. The i10 is from January sale at the dealer, he will of course be on the auto show in Paris.

The sketch on September 2nd we got on our plate and it looked exciting. The final production model is unfortunately not. Hyundai ix20 has been asked to intervene in the MPV segment, Opel Meriva and especially to attract customers. The ix20 is the sister of the Kia was Venga and design elements with the greatest brother ix35 (click for the driving test), as the grille and headlights. In the UK it is on sale from November 11, how do we know that Belgium is not.

The price was 16,000 euros, is as expensive as the Opel Meriva. Hyundai says that when you get them most of the standard: air conditioning, ESP, start-stop, Bluetooth and a pack airbags. A nice standard package, that's for sure. Under the hood hiding two petrol and one diesel unit. Fuel tank up a 1.4 with 90 hp or a 1.6 with 126 hp. Diesel tank you again in a 1.4 liter 90 hp also. The diesel unit was 114 g / km CO2.

The ix20 get the 'smart grille "in front, like the Opel Astra ecoFLEX. Grille that contains a shutter which opens at low engine speeds to ventilate and closes at high speeds to improve airflow. This clearly serves to lower consumption.

Hyundai Avantе

Hyundai Avantе
On a motor show in South Korea company Hyundai absolutely unexpectedly for all has presented new generation of model Avantе. The main difference of new version Avante from the predecessor is, certainly, design. The car shown in Korea is executed in new style of company Hyundai in which earlier have already been made Sonata and Verna.

Photos of interior of the new car for the current moment are not present. But it is possible not to doubt, as here Koreans can surprise. According to the representatives Hyundai, new Avante/Elantra will set new standards in the class. And already European firms should catch up with Koreans, rather the reverse.

Hyundai Avantе
Under a cowl of car presented in Korea is 1,6-litre gasoline engine which gives out 140 h.p. But a bit later should appear and other power units. Sales new Avante will begin in Korea already in second half of this year. And the model will get to Europe only next year. Then it becomes clear, how many it will cost, but it is not necessary to count on discounts. Time of "cheap Koreans» has passed.

Production Hyundai i-flow planned for 2011; showcar previews diesel hybrid system and new eco ideas

The Hyundai i-flow is one of the significant concept cars at Geneva, not just because it looks dramatic, but because under that heavily sculpted skin is a range of latest tech that could appear in Hyundai’s next generation of cars. Powering the i-flow is the company’s first diesel-electric hybrid powertrain consisting of a U2 1.7-litre oil burner with two-stage turbocharging and Hyundai’s lithium ion-polymer battery. Coupled to a six-speed, dual-clutch transmission, the drivetrain is capable of 33.3 km/l and a low CO2 output of 85g/km.

The i-flow is also a test bed for new energy harvesting ideas, ranging from a flexible solar panel roofing to a thermo-electric generator developed in partnership with leading chemical company BASF. One such idea is thermal engine encapsulation, which ensures that the engine reaches optimum operating temperature more quickly by retaining heat when the car is idle. Hyundai says that this translates into fuel savings and emissions cuts of 5% during summer and up to 9% in winter. The thermo-electric generator meanwhile recaptures energy from hot exhaust gases and converts it to electrical energy to help power auxiliary systems.

Designed at Hyundai’s European studio in Russelsheim, the i-flow sports the firm’s “fluidic sculpture” design language. With an overall length of 4,780 mm and a 2,800 mm wheelbase, the i-flow is a Honda Accord sized D-segment contender that is set to hit the market in 2011. It remains to be seen how much of the i-flow’s styling is retained for production, but things look promising with the recent Korean realisation that advanced design is as important as making competent cars.
