The new (for me) seats in Cathay Pacific's cattle class, have the only nice feature of the non-reclinable seat. The rest is horrible: the padding is non-existant and is now thinned and spoiled by thousands and thousands of fat bottoms, so that your ass feels like seating on a wooden crate. Moreover, the headrest cannot be reclined, so that your head falls forward as soon as you snooze. A pain in the neck, in your sorry buttocks and in your poor backbone, are then the unavoidable souvenirs of every 15 hours overseas flight. Read this for confirmation: the post is not negative (got yuans?) but the comments tell the actual truth. I wish the dear Chineses of Cathay a long stay in Confucius' purgatory... I hope it's full of abominable Cinese tortures!..
